An installation of clay caps made by moulding clay onto the heads of 186 women in Gunnedah, NSW. The piece represents the concern of community members for a rapidly changing environment. The inspiration came from a kopi or mourning cap in the Red Chief Keeping Place. The work was made with the permission and participation of the board and elders of the Red Chief Land Council. The installation has three parts: full-size hanging caps, smaller caps made only with indigenous women that sit on the floor, and a sound piece.
